I bought a Peavey Vypyr Tube 60 off craigslist from a guy who said it wasn't working. I decided to take a chance since it came with the Sanpera ii footpedal that's easily worth a $100. I offered him $50. When I got it home I started messing around with it, checking the tubes, to see if it would work. Then I read on a Peavey forum that sometimes when you power up the amp with the guitar cable in the jack it messes it up. So I took the guitar cable out, powered up the amp, plugged the cable back in, and sweet, it worked! I'm not big on amp modeling, but this was well worth $50.
