I thank you in advance for your time :)

The song is pretty good....not my usual fare but it kinda reminds of the Clash sometimes.

I think you're getting the feel across pretty good, but the guitar sound seems so processed for this type of music...Is it recorded direct a pod or something??
I guess I would expect to hear a mic'ed amp with this style of music (something a little more raw).

The drums over all could come up in the mix BUT the first thing I noticed was that high-hat...I know that sizzle is crucial to the sound of the song, but it's WAY too in your face considering how far back in the mix the rest of the kit is.

it's a good song and it sounds like it was preformed very well.

Funny song.

The recording has all the earmarks of a home recording....which strangely sound a lot like the early 80 thrash-punk that this song resembles.

I kinda like as it is, don't change anything. If you said that you wanted a clean modern mix I would have advice but as it is....it's fine.

I forgot:

Drum:Tama Rockstar Classic

KickDrum :Shure BETA52
Snare: SM57
Floor tom: SM57
Overhead: Shure SM94
Overhead: AKG C-1000

Basguitar: Fender Jazz Bas /Direct Out

Guitar: Gibson Les Paul Studio on Mesa Boogie Triple rectifier(Played 2 times Panned Left/Right)

Close to grill: SM57
0,5 meter away: Studio projects C1

Vocals: Studio projects C1

Recorded on Cool edit Pro 2.0
with staudio soundcard 8 direct in's.

3 things i noticed:
-Hi-hat bleeds into the snare mic = because of too thick/loud hi-hat.
-Vocals are maybe overcompressed (i used trackslammer by waves 5.0)
-Guitar are too thin, i boosted some bass but it sounds a bit too artificiel + I think i used too much distortion...

Thx for the positive comment !!

ButButBut:
I do want it to be a little more clean :D.
So any tips could help :p.

the guitars arn't really to thin, it's the bass. albums with that thick sound you love have tight bass and git. many times what you think are lows in the guitars are actually coming from the bass.

what do you mean by to thin?

Wich Frequencies should i boost?
maybe a Waves MaxBassBoost effect?
