My tripledat

Can I use a fostex VM04 digital mixer (20bit) to my tripledat software (16bit)??? Instead of A dat recorder. And does anyone know if the VM04 has coax because that would be really cool and solve my problem of only having 2 analog inputs, and they are much cheaper than a dat or Adat

The Fostex has toslink optical outs. I just read that your tripledat (Creamware?) has optical ins. Should do the job for you.

Unless I'm mistaken about your gear having lightpipe capabilities, you should be good to go with this one.
