After hearing the quality input from another of my threads (https://homerecording.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=121908), I have narrowed down my recording device choices to hard drive based systems. I have come to three choices for a recording system. The Fostex D2424LV, Alesis HD24, and SDR2496 have become my top choices.
Can anyone with experience with any of these systems inform me of why I should go with that choice, or even a different one from the choices I have come up with? All these products are in the same price range, so if you are to suggest another product, I would like it to stay in the $1000-$1600 range. Thank you for all of your assistance.
