I recently started recording some of my covers for youtube and found for the equipment I have this works best. I use a taylor 314 ce and an akg d5 into a marshall as50d amp. Then I use the line out on the amp to a focusrite 2i2 audio interface to the laptop. Sometimes since I'm only using 1 channel on the 2i2 I add a behringer c1 at the soundhole of the guitar to get more sound. This reproduces the sound of my amp as if I were playing live. I always see vids that add a little too much effects and I think that its a little overboard so this way keeps the guitar and voice pure. Check out my channel Nick Bruck - YouTube and respond if you like. Thanks.

You use a Taylor a/e through a Marshall? Kind of defeats the purpose of the Taylor plugged-in sound ... :guitar:

If it works for him, that's all that matters, right?

By the way, I have no idea what he's talking about...
