The intro was halfway decent than it got retarded. The drumming is horrible, way off beat. That guitar melody gets irritating. The mix is the least of your worries.
 
i agree with the lead guitar part comment above, when singing don't have it playing (that's what i would do anyway), it's too distracting from the vocal. i honestly would suggest a much better mic. even a $20 behringer xm8500 would make this sound alot better. vocals on the other hand, you sound like william hung. i shouldn't comment on vocals though seeing as i can't sing myself. keep working, everyone has to start somewhere.

Hey, I finally got to give it a listen. Sorry it took me so long to get to it.

It is really bad for most people on this board, but I think you've done a great job for someone your age. You wouldn't want to hear anything I was doing back then. Recently we watched the Beatles anthology and they probably weren't much better when they were 14! But they kept at, and worked hard. Paul told the story of riding across town on a bus so that someone could show them how to play a maj7 chord.
