This monster purchase is a few weeks away, anyone thats thinks buying a particular piece of gear in this list would be a bad idea because of PAST EXPERIENCE please help me out.

The products im a bit unsure of are:
Lexicon MPX500
Focusrite Trackmaster Mic Pre
Tascam CDRW2000 Burner
AKG D112

Im setting this up for remote recording, two racks one for the studio with 1 patchbay, the presonus comp, lexicon multi and the burner.
The other rack is for the remote work containing: HD24, 1 patchbay, headphone mixer and the trackmaster pre.

What type of recording are you going to be doing? Is there a mixer there that I missed?

I would want a small clean mixer just for flexibility or in case the preamp took a crap on you. A mackie 1202 or Spirit M4 would be handy to have.
 
Thanks Tex, i think they would be too small.

At the moment im using a Soundcraft SX
