Yeah, that looks about right. I assume each vertical division is 1 dB?

This kinda puts the whole idea of flat microphones and other gear into perspective, eh?

each vertical is 2db i think - it's the graph included with your download/cd.

peak is about 108db (around 118hz)
low is about 65db (around 165hz)
more than a 40db difference

now i need to find someone who can sell me somethnig to even it out a bit

i just finally got most of the acoustic treatment in my room set up, and everything positioned correctly, etc...so now i want to calibrate my monitors and sub, and check the frequency response, etc...like you guys are talking about here. i am going to get a radio shack spl meter, but when what? i put the meter in the listening position, where my ears would be, correct? point directly at the monitors, or what? and then what program or whatever do i use for frequency response? thanks for the help!

most of your questions have been answered above. i used my spl meter on a camera stand poniting 45 degress towards the roof at listening position, C weighted.

i read the information on ethans test cd page afterwards and it helped me. i see now that the questions have been answered, its just that at the time i didnt realize that you were just listening to tones, and writing down the level at each tone. i have heard about analyzing software, etc...i was just wondering how you were doing it, and what the best way is. i know now, thanks.
