Man you're burning your bridges faster than most people, at least Walters was some what nice when he was getting bashed, you're just a dick. And stop with the is it there yet. You sound like a little kid in the backseat of a car. YOU WILL NEVER GET A PRO SOUND OUT OF YOUR RECORDING CHAIN PERIOD. There are a few pro's on here that could get great recordings with what you have but you aren't one of them. At this point your compressor is totally useless and a waste of money for you. For example before I bought any outboard gear I learned what compressors, eq's, delays, reverbs, and many other plug ins do. If you really need to learn quick, pay the money go to a semi-pro studio and ask question, ask them if you can learn from them. I understand your frustration for the first couple of months I recorded I wanted the elusive pro sound, I quickly discovered you need to take small steps. You should play with your software compressors move all the knobs around while you mix see what sounds you like and work from there. If you want the advice from pro's stop acting so ghetto and start acting more professional, just because you rap doesn't mean you need to act ghetto.
