ok, i can do multitracking in cubase,
but last week a friend of mine asked my help,
he's making a 3 minute video clip,
and i "did the sound"
all the audio files and FX were ready, and i wanted to import everything
in cubase sx 2.0, i created a new project (VIDEO FOR PAL - im in europe)
works fine, importing audio and video works,
BUT,
from the moment i click on that video file (in cubase), or if i try to play the video back in cubase my computer reboots,
i even had a Blue Screen Of Death...
first thing i thought = OK, i got too many video codecs installed,
maybe there are built in codecs in cubase...
uninstalled my other codecs, same problem
second thingi thought, mhhh, that blue screen of death, isn't that because my RAMM has an error.... i know i don't have a high quality DDR ram thing in my pc ... might be the cause too
so did anyone have this problem before ,
the pc reboots every time i try to open or play a little MPEG file in cubase
i just don't know wheater its a hardware or software problem
cheers,
