Thanks Ghost!!!
I'm lovin' my M3700!!!:D
Though, ...my M320B keeps callin' me back to it!!!:p
I think I like the preamps & EQ section on my M320B just a tad bit more....but I'm very happy with the M3700 as well. Just tried it out for the first time this past week, and got 2 stellar mixes from this monster already.
Hooked my Tascam 38 up to the M3700 and it was a match made in heaven!

Good stuff! :)

And nice to know that the 300 series boards still have desirable features that compete with larger, more upscale consoles!

Cheers! :)

Thanks Alan.
Also, thank you fr supplying me with the manual.
That was nice of you to take time out of your day to send me the pdf.
Much appreciated.

I'm a bit ashamed to ask, but is there any chance I can have a copy too? I'm still waiting for my paper copy to arrive but I'm eager to start figuring out the automation, or at least read about it and decide whether the automation makes it worth while to take my chance on a untested but cheap Tascam 48 that popped up in the local adds...

....and boy what trip that was!
I'll be starting a thread on the story soon. Though it's not a long story,...but a crazy one.

I did the same thing a few years back. Made a straight through trip from the Southern Oregon coast down to LA and straight back to get my M3700. 1700 miles. Talk about being a zombie! I was totally zonked by the time I got home. But it was worth it. I love my M3700. Here it is now. I was installing my new computers under it in this pic. The exhaust plenums are sitting on the floor below waiting to be installed.

Here's an older pic of the mixer in the console I built for it.

Good luck with your new studio.

Sorry to say that is was no me that sent the manual to VESSEL2020, maybe he could forward it on to you. I do have a manual but to turn it into a PDF is quite a job (if we are talking about the whole thing).

I use the automation all the time, completely changed the way I mix. There is nothing like fine tuning the mix with the automation and then just sitting back and listening to it without having to worry about moving faders, and it is so good being able to mute intros, endings and track noise throughout the song.

Cheers
Alan.

Thanks to a kind member on here

I don't believe I'd figure out the automation without it.

Since I can't seem to go back and edit my post.
Sorry Alan, I made a mistake...because I was conversing with you & another member on here
at the same time.

Thanks Rick,...That's a sweeeeet M3700 ya got there! The custom console is just as sweet! I'd like to build one similar to that, but my carpentry skills are not up to par!
Though, I am in the middle of building an analog synth, with tape echo built-in...but that's another thread!:D;)
