Today, I picked up a used Taylor Koa guitar from my used guitar dealer. (well, it's getting a rare-earth pickup installed, so I won't own it till friday)
In my mind and ears, it blew away everything, including most of the Martins. (every Martin I tried, in fact) - I didn't even want to leave the store and look anywhere else for fear it would walk away.
Anyone have any experience with this kind of guitar? You won't change my opinion, but I'm just trying to get a gauge of them. To me, it sounds like a lot sharper tones...but crisp and clear.

I've played several Koa Taylors, and they were all excellent. I picked my 814-BCE (Brazilian Rosewood) over the Koa though, just my personal preference in the sound. The thing is, every Taylor I've ever played is very nice. Even the lowest models sound and play great, and won't kill your wallet.
