I finally got my CD finished. Not trying to sell anything to a bunch of poor musicians :D, just thought I'd mention it for those waiting to exhale. :laughings:

Hehe...Someone left me some hilarious messages in my Guest book. I didn't mean to delete them, I actually wanted to keep them up, but screwed up in my control panel. Some 13 year old called me a "Canadian faggot" and told me to leave music to Americans (must be an Eagles fan) :D....but he also called me a "cool guy", so I guess he can't decide. :laughings:

Of course, it's easy to be a tough guy when you're anonymous. But I also know he's reading this and won't have the balls to respond here. Nice to know I can still arouse such passion. :D

I got a question for your rami-

A few of the tracks on the album are covers. I'm not trying to bust your chops or anything but seeing as this is an independant release how does one go about paying the original composer of the covered songs?

I'm hoping this isn't going to open up the whole copyright can of worms... A short answer will suffice :)

This has been nagging me for a while because it may concern my future releases...

No, no offense taken, fair question.

If you ever want to release a cover, all you have to is go to http://www.harryfox.com/index.jsp. They hold, or have access to, all the publishing for songs. You pay about 10 cents a copy for every copy you're buying the licensing for. I assumed I wasn't going to sell more than 100 copies of anything, so I licensed it for that amount. So, each cover song ended up costing me about $10..

I'm actually mixing Say No More from the Mix this forums. I gotta say I'm quite impressed with your stuff, you've reminded me just how much you can do with only guitar, bass and drums... jeez that almost sounds like a backhanded compliment, but trust me, it ain't!

Thanx man. I pretty much stick to making my resordings something that can be re-produced live by a 2 guitar band. :)
 
I like how you can see the edges when you rotate the case!

I don't trust those so-called "legitimate" charts, so I started my own. My Cd's occupy #1-#5 on that chart. And I only have 4 Cd's out. :)
