My Monitors aren't putting out as much bass as the used to.

I'm wondering if now that i treated my room, the bass build ups are lessened which results in me thinking that originally it had good bass response, and now it actually shows me what they really sound like.


So if the bass response really is what i hear, should i fork up the money to get a sub? In the future when i get enough money i'm going to buy the yamaha HS80's so i'd like to get the HS10w but if there are better ones then i'd like to know about that.

I would try the HS80's without the sub for a while and see if the bass sounds good on other systems in other rooms. The HS10W has good reviews.
