I checked it out in the mp3 forum. It's a good tune!Songs get pushed to the 2nd and 3rd page within a matter of hours in the mp3 forum these days, especially with the the little Challenge they have going on over there.

Nice guitar & vocal techniques.. warm voice.. good recording; love it!

Like father like daughter.

Very good song there. I like your confidence in your vocals and the guitar playing. Did you double either the vocals or the guitar?

Nice guitar work. It keeps the excitment going behind her powerful vocals. The lyrics are great.
She sure sounds good.

Yo ! Go girl!!!!

Great guit intro and maintains energy thru-out!!

Vocals rule w/ passion, intonation and purity.

Merely a copyright track ??? Screw that ! A little tweaking & it's a keeper for yourself....male/female???? does it really matter??? I think not, considering your strong and sensitive presentation!

If you retrack the vocal, I would try to match the instrumenal intensity 100%. This cut falls short slightly in this dept. due to a couple of much needed 'growls and gutteral gritty vocalisations for salt & pepper.

I'd take the entire vox track up @ least 2 db and the guit down 1-3 db.

nice job! Go girl, GO!

Thank you!!

What's space?

Not cluttered up with instruments that don't add to the song. The song has what it needs to have feeling.

Hey

Thanks to acorec, Kramer, F_cksia, digitcallous, badgas and Flat-9...you guys know how to make a girl feel welcome.
Thanks to dad too.
BTW, the guitar is one track and the vocals too...I am quite surprised at the response I am getting. I do want to re-do this song eventually...maybe sooner better than later. I might just post something different...let me see what's in my hat.

Great song and great voice!! You sound like somone else I've heard before, but I can't put my finger on who. When I think of her I'll let you know.
Sounds like buck did a good job with you. Oh, by the way, I like the reverb you have on the song. I think it goes with the song. You record on a 80 or 160 don't you, anyway, it sounds like it has better effects than the MR-8.
Keep up the good work. I'm sure you are making your dad proud.

 Cool geetar playing and very nice sounding Vox.

Since you may change recorders at anytime, may I suggest the VF160CDR? :D

Thanks

In time, I am looking to change up on machines....let me pay down my equipment debt first! ;)
I've been away from the forum for several days...so I wanna thank everybody for your insight and support.

why?

Kid, why change machines? The recordings sound great.

just curious as I have been on the fence btwn the mr8 and vf80

Thanks

I won't change within the next year. I will end up with a serious machine. I want to build a studio eventually and I want all of the bells and whistles. This is my first machine.

Since Nowhere's down right now....I'll have to listen later. I just wanted to mark the thread so I could easily come back to it.

What a deal.....having a dad that loves the same thing you do. Must be easier to get some of that equipment. :)

Not exactly...considering that any piece of electronic equipment or machinery or any other tangible asset with moving parts I buy always breaks as soon as I touch it!!! I seems as if I've got some kind of bad electical aura and they just don't wanna deal with me!
As far as getting the equipment we correspond a great deal about what I should buy. He's got this down to a science in such a short period of time!
