Very Haight-Asbury. Sounds like it could have been recorded 30 years ago. I like the lead guitar tone. Not too crazy about the piano, though. I won't comment on the mix/recording because I'm listening on computer speakers & don't trust them. Overall it sounds good.
 
that was kick ass. I was getting into that hawaii five-o sound. the drums were all kindsa busy, but it worked. the guitar tones were cool and fit perfectly. the doubled vocals were very choice. job well done.

thanks for all ur comments so far.

the guitar was recorded in a unique (imho) way. i removed the speaker from the cab and placed it on a tiled floor and recorded with the mic directly above. I thought perhaps reflections from the floor cld be pretty musical also.guess it didnt turn out too bad.

drums were not very defined coz i used only 3 mics. and i put the overheads too close to the cymbals/hihat i think.

nice vocal delivery as well....that keyboerd is what makes it sound so "......woodstocky"..but that cant be a bad thing right?!?!?!...the lead guitar was a bit loud....not much....man this drummer....is busy eh?....nice.
i dont like the hi hat beein panned so far over after the lead guitar/ piano part,.....
..all inall......like it !!...ok really like the wah guitar....YES!!!!...

Sounds like early British invasion stuff.

I agree about the piano,was the only thing that killed it for me.
The playing was fine,it was the tone.
The rest has that good,sweet heavy compressed/reverbed sound.
The piano sounds too in your face.IMHOP:D

kit has a very 'garage band' sound to it....especially the drums.
 
Nice rockin' song....i hear a few pitch issues in the vocals and an occasional misstep by the drummer. The recording's prett.......holy shit that's an out of tune sounding piano patch....too bad 'cause the idea's pretty good.
The guitar sound is fairly cool.....the drums......I think you're right about mic placement....some of the drums sound distant...like the kick for one......not a bad song or recording but it could use some refinement....not bad though........
