My keyboard crashes my soundcard:0(

I have just got an old casio fz-1 sampler just to use as a midi controller..it works for about 30 secs & then my sound turns to a continual buzz...i have to reboot to stop it..
can anyone help? ...Taa if ya can!!:0)

what cables used?
what MIDI sequencer?
OS?
etc. etc.
