Hi,

I recently purchased a Guild D4-E( E because the Guild factory put a Fishman Pickup/preamp system in it) and I love the thing to death..Unplugged it is so rich and full, and the bass is incredible! When I plug in it, it sounds even better(Fishman makes nice pickups) :) The arched back is a neat feature of this guitar, it gives it a bigger sound.. Anyone who wants a huge acoustic sound should check out a Guild :)

My dad just got this Breedlove, and this thing is nice. When you strum this thing, and you hear the shimmer, it makes you shiver :D It plays so nice, you'd swear it was a Electric. It also has a Fishman pickup/preamp in it(Fishman Classic IV) When you plug it into my dad's Fishman Performer Amp, it makes you want to play all day :o Jim Breedlove makes some nice guitars!

I took some pics the other day, and I thought I'd share them, enjoy!

P.S, I just realized, I think you have to log into Myspace before you can see the pictures..

congrats on the new ax. How much for the D4? Is that the Korean one?

as for the breedloves, I'm not a fan of the ones I've played before. It would be a good gigging acoustic, as they seem to have the jangly bright tone and the small scale as the nicer ovations I've played but I personally need a little more beef from my guitars. Gibson Jumbos and Martin Dreds are more my taste.

Hey,

Thanks! No, its actually a Rhode Island, USA made one. :)

Thats sweet, I actually have two guilds and I also love them to death. Ones a 66' starfire II, electric hollowbody, and the other was asthetically modified so I don't know the exact type, but it was purchased brand new in 71', 12 string acoustic. They have some realll sweetttt sounding stuff.

Enjoy bro!
