My First real attempt.........

So here is a recording that i did over the weekend I've got all the parts I need and am about to mix. I mixed it down as a rough mix let me know what you would do if you were to do a final mix. Thanx.

no they sit nicely - kick louder slightly - but maybe not....... im listening on my pc shitty speakers so the bass end might not work properly etc. other than that sounds good. nice mix m8.

So doe's this mean I have a great mix already or is there something lacking that could really make it POP more, your input please I'm all about the crtiquing. thanx.

Yeah, the drums are kinda dead for this genre of music I think. They need to hit me alot harder, especially the kick. Even when I crank it way up, I want more drum hitting me. Everything in this is really really dry. I don't hang alot in this genre, the only group I have been around in it is Pillar, and theyre not mainstream. But it seems like it may need a little post work to sound more finished up. A little more definition and a little more punch overall will give you what you're looking for maybe?
