For those like me who aren't yet seasoned veterans, I found this link very helpful:

If you listen closely to the guitars on my recording, you may notice a change in the sound if you audition it in mono versus stereo. This is because of the micing technique I was using -- one mic pointed at the hole of the guitar, and the other pointed at the 12th fret. I wasn't following the 3 to 1 rule, and the result was phase issues, which Queue spotted with his software program.

Luckily, I was able to correct this issue using Sound Forge. Basically, the mix coming from the right and left speaker were microscopically "out of sync," so I just zoomed in on the waves and lined them up to where they were almost perfectly in sync. I'll post the new version shortly for anyone interested in hearing the difference.
