My first post for critique....."HYPERACTIVE WAH WAH"..

This is my first post in the mp3 forum.

I would like some constructive criticism on the song "Hyperactive Wah Wah"

I mixed this in my little home studio without any acoustic treatment. I am currently constructing some Bass traps and Absorbers.

The whole song was recorded on a Boss 1600CDR. All the guitars were recorded direct into the Boss 1600 and the drums were preset patterns.

Hey, Gort, nice clean sounds. This is pretty cool. SnakeDog is gonna love it.
I like the recording. Very good and clean sounding. Nice tone. I have a BR-532. It doesn't have as good as sounds on the guitar as this. Did you do any computer editing, or all in the 1600?

everything sounds in place not much to critiscise.
Maybe the bass could stand out more :o :)

And GOOOO wah pedal!!! Dogman predicted it... I have a thing going for the sounds of wah wah. Can' resist it.
This rocks :D Excellent, nothing sounded off to me... that means I'm going to listen to the rest of your songs now.

Thanx Dogman for listening!

Everything from go to woe was done on the Boss 1600. The tracking, the lead guitar was through the wah wah and straight into the desk, the effects added and editing were all done on board the Boss 1600CDR.

Thanx for your feedback, I love the Wah Wah myself and have to limit my use with it so I don't over do things.

Great playing man - chunky rhythm, both the wah wah and the tapping are awesome. I think Wah Wah playing is a true skill - and you have it down pat. Mix is great too - very nice...... :)

That lead sound is awsome. And the wah pedal sounds really good too. Everything sounds good to me, drums remind me of the Boss DR-5 that I used to have.

The drums are very similar to the DR-5. I like the drum sounds on Boss units!

Wow, nice sounds and great playing Gorty! I'm a bit of a wah junkie myself, so I really enjoyed this. Makes me want to go upstairs and record. :D
