My First Music Video

I've been off the streets for a year now, trying to redo my life for the better. I've had my share of shit i've done in the past. Nothing I'm proud of now-a-days. I'm still respected on the streets. Specially in my hometown of Oakland. These days, I'm trying to do something with music instead. The scenes took about 1 full day to do, actually from like 2pm till nighttime. 99% of it was on the fly cause my home boy lives like 35 miles away so rehearsing & all that was rough.

I got mad songs that talk about changing & the good ole shit, but most of the stuff I rap about reflects my past. Of course I haven't killed anyone but I've done did all that old shit. Used to be part of CVL, some of yall know what I'm talking about. Now is the time I gotta change really or else I'll land myself in the pen

i thought it was rather dope, all it was missing was osme hoodrtas shakin their booties, haha. Nice drop tho.

hehehe wouldnt it be a little more "gangsta" if the guy wasnt wearing a seatbelt?

I kinda agree. I've been trying to help him in that area. I do think he gots potential though, in the music video he rarely moves or anything. I mean I ain't the greatest either, but I know that a person can't just stand there and rap and it be dope. They gotta move, and make the crowd feel the music. We were suppose to perform last Friday at some foundation thing with 6800 people attending, but I thought we wasn't ready just yet, until we work on the movements etc. He's real quiet, but he's gone a long way since I first met him. Back then he was WACK. Now-A-Days' I think his lyrics have mad improved.

you know what, after sitting back and evaluation its not that bad comparing to the bullshit we have now adays and youtube n myspace can make you efamous so i wont knock ya hustle. Shit i feel like getting my dv cam and doing some illegal street project, Hey maybe we all can do 1 and just post and enjoy each others work of laughable art!
