My first mix with the new setup, critique please!

not bad mate. i think the vocals are a bit too up front, maybe need some reverb and lowering a touch to let it sit better in the mix. guitars could do with less muddy low-end, that might be a problem at source with the tone though. the keys sound really good and the drums do a nice job too, could maybe be brought into the mix better.

Thanks! Yeah, the source tone on the guitar is muddy, I tried to clean it up a bit... Take two- lowered the vocals and added more reverb and brought the drums up quite a bit.

I've listened to the last mix. I agree with schismatic, the distortion used for the song is a little harsh. Try putting some EQ on the high frequencies, just a bit or you'll end with a plastic sound. My only complain is about the kick... it need some bite. Raise the levels at 4khz to hear some click of the bass drum.
