My first effort with the SP B3

This is an old Nat King Cole tune. I posted a sample of the guitar part a little earlier. Here's the complete song including the vocals. It's my first effort with my new Studio Projects B3 microphone. I think the soundstill have a ways to go, but I think I'm getting a little closer on both the guitar and the vocals.

Very nice guitar comping....I like that a lot. The sound is muffled sounding to me. The guitar and the vocals both need some 'sparkle'. The performance is good and I think with just a little different EQing it would shine.
 
I kinda like the "dullness" of this recording. It seems retro or almost genuinely old.
Nice singing, maybe a little 'verb. Might be cool to sing and play simultaneously to add to the realism of this early-era sounding song.

Anyway,great job... I thought it was really good all around.. vocals/recording and mix.. Maybe it lacks some crispness, but it works for this..

it put an immediate smile on my face..

Fabulous recording. I also dig the sound. Your playing is freaking stunning. Makes me want to give up all my gear and maybe practice for once.
