Finally had chance to give this a proper listen - I've got some beautiful sounding Wharfedale speakers in the living room and it sounds fantastic on them. As Heat mentioned, the depth to the sound and the range of colours throughout the album are superb. Both you and Jan deserve massive props.

It was strange hearing the album as a whole after having heard most of the songs individually over the past year or so in the clinic. Pleasantly surprised how it all came together as a cohesive whole - yer skanking guitar work is a thread through it all that really adds to this.

Very well done KC :D
 
Ah great Rob, i want to try and keep the guitar and some bass always involved with it, doesnt really make it pure electronic, which i like. Glad it sounded good to you, i like most of the album, obviously i get a little tired of it, but i think the tracks with you and Joey really stand out, both having you guys on vocals just pushed them into commercial quality imo

Im just sending the CD out to college stations and these are two of the handful im highlighting in the hope of getting airplay, ill let you know if theres any follow up

Oh man, I got you! I'm going to have my own show on my college station. I can definitely give your songs a spin. I could also write a review of your CD in my college paper lol. :D

Today is the day I should get mine. Still no sign of UPS guy though. :(

SCORE! Just got it. Popped it in my hi fi system and turned the sucker to 27. I can't remember the last time I turned the amp past 25. It sounds great! I really like it. I stopped after sex,dub,rock&roll because my family didn't take a liking to the sub that was shaking the house :D

I'll listen to the rest later.

I'll probably have to do an electronica themed show in order to play your songs. Trouble is, I don't know that much lol. Maybe you can point me to some of your favorite artists?
 
lol, cheers...if you wanted to try an electronica set I can give you a few artists that might be good, though Im sure some of it would work with NIN or Meat Beat Manifesto etc

Arrived at last.... you can drink the Coors lite I've funded from the proceeds now kc... will give it a spin over the weekend.:D

I've played mine on discman & a bIG old 70's system with AR speakers etc and a BIG BIG Yamaha Direct Signal Amp'n'speakers as well.
The common elements is a BIG clean sound.
I really enjoyed it - I wish I had a car so I could drive down my street with it blaring like all the Sunday car club drivers do. I also wish I could drive.
Seriously kc - you're getting praise because it's GOOOOOOD!
I did hope against hope that my fav kc song would be on there with the original kc vox - I live in hope for the next one!
 
Haha youre a nutter ray, ive just tried fixing the vocals on that with melodyne...ill see what you think?

Finally got mine in today's mail. It usually takes a couple of weeks from the US so.... I remember a lot of the songs from here but the sound quality is better than I remember. The mastering contributes that final touch. Nice looking artwork too. You should be very proud of this - fabulous !

Yup, he turned it up a notch...though i did give everything a final mix it was just too much work to take the early stuff back to scratch and start again

The artwork took about an hour...not much creativety there...a clowns head..surprise :D
