My fender makes a lot of hum !!!!

Hey I got a new Fender toronado (mexican made deluxe) and it makes a lot of hum, you know that irritating feedback. I have to be besides the guitar cab or very far otherwise I can't play due to the hum. It has fender atomick humbuckers with chrome pickup covers. Will changing the bridge pickup help ? I plan on putting a Seymour Duncan sh-6 on the bridge. Thanks a lot

Take off the pickguard and make cure the ground wire hasn't come unsolderd. I had a cheap bass that had no wire to the sleeve on the jack. It was just supposed to ground through the metal cover or something. Anyway, it buzzed like a saw and the output was very low until I ran a ground from the pot can to the output jack sleeve terminal.
