Somehow in Track or console view, I can't get my faders and levels. I click the Show/Hide faders in Track view to Show Fads and Check Recording and Playback Levels and nothing happens? I left click to menu in console view and no levels appear. Thats by the book. Anyone know what I'm missing. (Besides the faders of course) I'm using Sonar 5 producer edition. They have to be here somewhere. they were here before in track view. (Never did get them in console view which I don't use that much anyway, but would like to) I am working on a few projects and they dissappeared in all of them. Thanks

must be something peculiar to Producer because I can't emulate your problem at all in Studio... sorry
and I've checked the 600 page manual too and I can't find anything in there that would give me any clues...

I had something similar happen

I run Guitar tracks Pro and had something very similar - lost everything in track view - faders, knobs etc. Edit view was fine. Cakewalk has a registry hack on their site that sounds like it might solve the issue. I tried reinstalling the software and that didn't even fix it - about the third install and using the reghack it went away. Cakewalk is good about emailing help if you contact them - if I still had the email I'd send it over - sorry

FYI, it was simply hitting the "I" key to get that Bus Inspector view back. It doesnt appear under Views menu as I think it should be. But I must have hit the "I" key and they went away and I had no idea why. As for Console view. You have to click the VOL button at bottom left. How lame I feel............

ah... the old Track Inspector... I didn't think you ment that

I've only got a 15" monitor at the moment so I never have Track Inspector on.

I didn't even know thats what its called. BTW, what does having 15" monitors have to do with not need track inspector. Don't you still need faders and levels in the track inspector?

I just don't bother with the track inspector at all because it just takes up too much room on my small 15" display. When I get to the mixing stage I use Console View all the time...
