Ah... some Dylan speak-singing :cool: Tom Petty, too. Nice tasteful solo there man. IMO the kick drum is a bit loud, but it may just work in this mix. Hearing some Aerosmith in there too... maybe some "ahhhhhh... yi yi aaaaaahhhh...." harmonies behind the second verse, or something would add some emotion and interest.

My ISP can't stream fast enough for hifi and I get a 'error syncing to mpeg' when I try to stream lofi :(

I tried to go to your site, but it wouldn't let me stream...so then I used your URL, but this is only in hi-fi (and I haven't yet entered the 20th century) so I wasn't able to listen to more than about the first 20 seconds...sounded like it was going to be a good song..

Anyway, I like your lyrics that you posted. Sounds like a very personal tune (which, to me are the best kind) ... Very hearfelt! Wish I couldv'e heard it (and downloading takes about an hour and a half on my machine ... :(

Man that was the loooongest D/l!! Nice one Gidge, one of my daughter's was listening and thought it was the band "posion":D . enjoyed it man btw, the recording sounded very good too!

Very heartfelt ... I only have sons so I don't know what it must be like to see a daughter leave home...pretty emotional.
