My birthday present to me

Nicely done. Looks like my trusty 1960 Guild Starfire IV, my long-time favorite of many guitars owned.

Enjoy,
J.

Look, fraternal twins!!!

Just picked this up on evilbay the other day for my birthday today. :)

I'm slammin it with a Seymour Duncan Custom on the bridge as we speak.

Fresh from Musicians Friend for $219. I've always wanted a dot-style.

Yeah, Guitar Center was blowing these out 2 weekends ago, and I played one testing out an amp, and damned if it didn't feel pretty good and sound decent.

But...I resisted the urge. But maybe only because it was black. Had they had this finish, I might have pulled the trigger.

Very nice looking pressie, what pickups are in that baby?

Generic Epi Humbuckers. They don't sound too bad, actually. I'm planning on upgrading all the electronics, maybe some P-90's or Filtertron copies.
