hi all, new here, got a big problem

I made 3 hip-hop beats,1 of them is flawless, the other 2 when i turn the volume up,when a drum line hits, the speakers make this crackling noise in sync, i hate this  , what did i do wrong, im using FL studio 7 btw, do i have to use a plug in?, Multi compressor or something, this is anoying.

What do you mean by "crack"?

Sounds like it could be clipping/distortion because you're recording too hot or pops/crackles caused by probelms with your recording hardware.

Perhaps you mixed them so loud that they are clipped on export?

As in, the output volume set in FL was too high (or the drums themselves are clipping), so when the final "beat" was mixed, some of the drums are going into the clipping range.

First, I would try soloing the drums, and exporting them by themselves, and play them back. If they clip (or "crack" as you say), then you have to lower the volume of each drum track, and in turn the volume of everything else, since the drums will now be softer than the overall mix.

If this doesn't do the trick, but it is definitely the drums clipping, keep lowering that volume.

Put that in your pipe & toke it!
To eradicate distortion, ensure the correct proportion before expor(tat)ion.

oh ok,hmm I think its the bass lines i add, when i added compression the crackling at higher volumes disapeared alil, ill keep at it,cheers
