what up man?! here are my comments in no particular order...
1. it does seem sort of empty...at least when you get to the main page. you have two busy/full side bars with nothing but 3 tour dates in the main area. seems like maybe you could slap a live photo in there or something to jazz it up. If it were me (and it isn't) i'd put a bunch of your main sections up there...for example...put up an mp3 for them to listen to, next tour date, newest news story...you get the idea...just a thought.
2. everthing looks pretty good once you go to the 2nd level pages. I personally would like to see some more photos or imagery, but that's personal taste
3. as being a guy who designs corporate sites for a living, it does seem a little backwards, with the nav on the right, but this isn't a corporate site, so your good.
4. as mentioned, it's nice and clean which would be nice for a corporate site, but (again) you are not a corporate site. Your music has kind of a gritty bite to it, yet still poppy. I'd like to see that reflected in the design. how? hard to say...but this site does not "look" like your music. it's fine as far as clean sites, but it doesn't "flatter" the music. for example (and i don't mean to bring this up just so you can see our bands wonderfull site), when you look at our site (
http://www.bagoftoysmusic.com ) you kind of get a sense of what our music is saying, and our niche in the "market" or whatever the hell you want to call it.
Just some thoughts....take em or leave em.
good luck!
