From a mixing standpoint, I can't take the modulation / whatever is making the vocals sound like they are through some sort of alien talk box.
Have you played starcraft? To me the screaming vocals sound like the Zerg Overmind. I can't differentiate one word from another. Which I guess is normal for me & metal, though. But again, I don't like the modulation / distortion.
From a songwriting perspective, I think it's interesting. The middle is pretty crazy, but it works. I like it. But when the song picks up with the drums going full speed, the power chords are ringing out. When that happens, the drums become the main focus, and it sounds a bit odd to me. I still like the movement, but I think the drums stick out too much. I like the little guitar riff going on this part a lot.

Great song! Although I didn't listen to it really loud it seems to lack some bottom end punch that this a track deserves. The kick and the drums should really be in your face, same with the bass. I like how the guitars are placed in the mix, some nice stereo imaging there. All in all, a good job, but needs some more punch.

Like it a lot. I'm not a fan of the whispered vocal but the other vocal is great. You got some real interesting sounds and musical ideas in there that I'm really digging. The mix itself is busy but lacks some beef and crunch, I don't quite know why. Great job on the song itself though. Best I've heard in a while

The vocal effect was a aesthetic decision.
Haven't played Starcraft in a loooong time! These types of vocals aren't for everyone and many times its difficult to understand.
