I sent some two-track tape recordings to my Masterlink. Sampled at 16/44, 24/44, and 24/96. Dithered and downsampled everything down to CD. I think I liked 16/44 the best. It certainly seemed the loudest. At 24/96 the sound seemed a little tilted towards the highs, and the levels definitely seemed a little lower. I dunno. The whole thing led me to believe that the high bit rate, high sample rate thing is kinda b.s.......so long as everything's gonna be on CD.
