My 1st Track - Brilliant or embarrassing?

Hi,
please let me know what you think of my track. I really have no idea if it sounds brilliant or embarrassing.
So far it's just an instrumental, later I'd like to add some vocals. The music is a remix of Saint-Saens' Aquarium, and I've made it with Fruity Loops/ Adobe Soundbooth.

Intro sounds a little "Casio".
Then the drums/kick are in time but don't fit the vibe.
Turns into a dance groove - cool....as the beat smoothes out
Distorted guitar is good...
So the intro and drum groove are all I would work on.
I think you've done a very good job at the arrangement - I'm used to the classical version so this was a cool change up.
and the mix is not showing any need for fixes...
I would vote towards the brilliant side....

Any suggestions what the beat should more sound like? Some example appreciated.
