Noob musician trying to get her first nice vocal mic. Internets led me to believe that the MXL V77 was really awesome for the price, so I got one off ebay, though it doesn't have a cable, just the power supply. I've only ever used Shure SM57/58 with regular 3 pin XLR cables into adaptors to get it in my computer to record.
So where can I get a 7 pin cable for this? I understand it's discontinued so does it need an old sort of cable? I found a cable on the guitar center website that says it's for a 7 pin tube mic power supply but I can't link because noob. Can I just get that or will the wrong cable ruin my mic?
