I have an opertunity to grab either of these 3 mics, for the same price roughly from a local mom and pop shop.
So what I'd like to know, is which would be the best choice, for a male singer, with a voice somewhat like a mix between Usher, and TQ?

I would suggest buying all three. Use them for a few months, keep the one you like and sell the other two on ebay.

Take the singer to the store with you and demo all three with a signal chain as close as possible to yours. Make your choice based on that.

I 'm not sure anyone can anwer your question otherwise-all 3 mics are OK for the price, but all have different strong points and weak points, and without actually HEARING your singer through them, you (and we) will never know exactly which one is best. The 319 is kinda dark and colored, the 67 a little less so, and the B1 tends to be bright.

According to the Vocal Mic Manual in the "Platinum Series of Professional Recording Reference Manuals IV", For a voice between Usher and TQ, the manual recommends the SP B1. When you get the manual, see pg. 69 paragraph 3.

There, now you don't have to worry about trivial things like trying a mic. The manual tells all. You will be happy with the B1.
