Damned if I do
I recently scored a V67G from eBay from a reputable vendor. When the mic arrived, I discovered that there was something metallic-sounding rattling around inside the housing. I emailed the vendor, Boynton Audio, who immediately emailed me with instructions to call MXL. I did so, and they gave me an RA right away. I sent the mic to them via Priority Mail, and it got to them in two days (from D.C. to CA, coast to coast, baby!). They fixed it and shipped it back to me two days later. It just arrived to me today. I've tested it out and it's AOK, and there's nothing loose* inside it.
MXL service gets good rep from me.
