Music video Jim Jones at Botany Bay (feedback wanted)

Hi, I'm Thomas new to this forum.

I was wondering if anyone could give me their opinion on this video? It is finished, but I'm currently working on a few more for the same artist.

 
The background imagery is a little "on the nose" for the narrative. You might get better results with more subtle backgrounds that don't match the lyrics as exactly.

You may also want to get a better performance. He bumped the mic a time or two, and he was struggling with the pitch a lot.

I was actually considering to clip it that way, maybe I should, at least for my next project. I think I know what you mean about the pitch, he had a soar throat that day, but we still decided to go ahead and record it, might have been a wrong decision.

Appreciate your feedback.
