Music to Murder - In My Final Days

Good rock song. Vocals are getting buried in the chorus. Vocal levels are fine in the verse. I kept hearing little timing issues here and there, not quite tight between drums, bass, and rhythm guitars. It wasn't continuous, but noticeable when it happened.

Thanks man. Timing stuff is okay by me as long as it doesn't detract from the song. I don't mind it sounding like a band that is having a great time riffing out. I guess I want a balance between sounding like a "studio mix" and sounding like "seeing a band in a club on a Friday night". Unless it's objectionable, I don't want to artificially correct anything.
 
Pretty solid song and mix, strong 90s grunge vibe. Vocal performances are tight, levels sound good. Guitars sound great, some nice work there. I'm thinking the rhythm riff during the "verse" part could even come up some. Some of the drum fills could maybe benefit from the high hat or kick drum clicking through underneath them just to help continuity, but they still sound pretty good. I like the slight speedups quite a bit.

All in all not much from me nitwise. Sounds like you're in damn good shape.

Thanks flat_feet. I can do something like that with the rhythm guitar in the verses. I think it can stand to come up a bit. Good idea with the hats during drum rolls. So, you're thinking like, when a drummer just plays the hats with his foot? I don't know what this is called, but I think this is what you're suggesting.
