Hello,
What a progress! About 3 weeks ago, I was ready to give up. Couldn't figure out anything and now I am able to record. I have the Tascam US-122 andGStudio LE as well as Cubase LE. Before I had that, I was playing around with Music Maker and I really like their synths (Copper, Silver, Beatbox), I still have no clue what GStudio does besides the piano-gig, and I also notice that Cubse LE has very little sounds (am I right), lots of pre-loaded for all the instruments (Roland, Yamaha, etc...). My questions are these:
1. Are the 2 programs bundled with Tascam a "scam" (hey there is a pun!) to get you to buy their OVERpriced instrument software?
2. Is there a way to use the beatbox or the other synths that come with Music Maker? I really like how simple MM is compared to Cubase or GStudio.
Remember, I am just starting and want create (I want play play guitar, sing, play midi with a few sound, add some beat to it, effects) rather than spending my time dinking aroundwith the perfect or most original sounds. When I fell I am short on what I can do then I can go beyond.
Any help on the matter would greatly help.
Thanks in advance,
