please tell me this is a new thread.
I cant find my post, I thought it was the new version I commented on.
The solos rock
and, I like the song too.
does dad coverin' mean he gonna play out, or just stay down in that dungeon of his?:D

As I remember the other version, this sounds much cleaner. Levels and stereo field sound good to me too.

Is the snare a stereo track? It sounds a bit wide for this to me.

I like that guitar solo. Lotsa feel.

Wasn't there kind of a harsh synth on the other version in the last verse? This patch sounds much more appropriate...nice and warm.

This is very clean, and fills the room well.
I couldn't add anything to this at all.

Great mood and use of all the instruments!

Hey Tom,

The drums are stereo out from my drum machine.
I reversed the phase on one side after it was recorded,and panned it about 13 to try and give it a wider sound.
Still experimenting with the technique.:D

I really liked this tune, your lyrics are very nice and your vocal style reminds me of Dylan(in a good way). Your kick drum definately cuts through the mix, maybe a bit too much. The guitar solo is inspired as someone else has said, nice tone.
