Excellent track!
Everything sounds tight, and sits nice in the mix.
Reminds me of old school Descendants...with better production.

Drum sound is Killer!!!

Fuck your stuff sparkles with clarity and quality Greg.

My first reaction is Romones, but also Jonathan Richmond, a fabtastic mix of the best of early American punk.

Thanks dude. :)

I haven't read any of the comments, so if I repeat anything, sorry. :)

Drums just keep getting better, Greg. Your kick / snare sounds are perfect. Your toms are awesome... You inspire me to keep honing my craft, bud.

If I had a nit, it would be that the whole vocal bus is too loud. I'm listening through new earbuds I got (which are just above total crap), and the vocals came through very loud and clear. I think you could get away with .5 db down on the vocals.

Other than that, great song. Nothing better than a good necrophiliac surf song. I think the verse starting, "And now, I'm happy as can be" made the whole song. Hilarious stuff.

Thanks PI. I'm doing a lot of things different with the drums, and I think it's getting better. This is song #4 with the new technique, and I think it's improving incrementally. I'm okay with the vocals on the different setups I've listened on, but that's a personal taste thing. Mixing the vocals a little more out front is another change I've been working on.

Didn't read any comments, so this is unbiased.
WHOA! MONSTER DRUM SOUND!!! They were always good, but these sounds creamy. Nice job. Sounds like Grease meets punk. :laughings: It's good. I like it. Part two of Fast Food Angel? The backing vox are really tight here. Sounds good. Nice 50's rock and roll solo. Funny lyrics here. I keep her in my trunk! :laughings::laughings: I literally laughed out loud. You're really kickin ass at the bass in this one. Jammin out. Great job.

Thanks a lot squibble.

I guess I'll stick with this drum technique for a while.

Man this sucks,

now all I want for Christmas is to be the Gerg!! :D

Awesome job man!!

This is my 1st listen & I'm using new headphones (the wife's asleep), they are Sennheiser HD515s & I'm not used to them yet - as a result I THINK I hear some very high end sizzle on the cymbals that is vaguely distracting. - it could just be that the cans are stimulating my tinnitus.
The song - GREAT. SUPERB bass tone.
The bridge I enjoyed - any longer would MEET expectations - my sensibilities expected it to be longer so the swift gear change was surprising & GREAT.
The title is a spoiler!
Flesh at the Drive In?
I gave Her A Purple Necklace at the Drive IN?
Sneaking Her into the Drive In in the Boot?
I Got Her In The Back Seat?
etc etc
Regardess - musical progression/development AND a great song!

Thanks a lot Ray. I've spent my customary 3 or 4 days without listening to this thing, so I'll go back now and look into high end sizzle. Hopefully it's just your new cans. :D

Checked it out. I liked it - good gothic horror comedy, delivered in an authentic punk package. Voice is well suited to the genre.

Convincing Greg.

Sounds great dudener. Fun tune and a fantastic mix. Your vocals kinda seemed more upfront than usual and I might've lowered them just a smidge, but it sounds fine like this too. Just passing through to pay homage. Carry on...:)

Your production is unreal. Everything sits perfectly to my ears. You've definitely nailed those drums too. They're HUGE. So is this song. Lovin' it, Greg. Looking forward to hearing more of your stuff.

After I posted that, my daughter told me she watched Rocky Horror Picture Show yesterday, so I thought of your song and decided to play it for her. She LOVED it!! She wants to put it on her iPod when we upload songs to it today so she can play it for her friends. I hope that's okay. :) What a fun fun song.

.........I see you have a page where you can pay to download some of your tunes. When you get this one up on a pay site, I'll download it again for sure.

Great song and mix Greg! I had the same thought in mind about the 'Rocky Horror' sound-especially with the doo-wop 50's feel to it.

And are my ears fooling me? Is that a Tele added into the mix? I've found that an SG or Les Paul mixed with a Tele are a great combination, they both compliment each other so well.....

I cannot find any faults, dude!
