Muppet Ska Video

I was working on a song for like 2 days and I realized it was kind of depressing so I decided to just write something upbeat and I put this little tune together - then I had insomnia that night so I made a video for it...

Muppets are always funny, but that was kind of boring. Not very ska either. The song sounded like a Casio demo. It's apparently way too easy to record music and make a video these days.

I admit the music was cool but repetitive. The video was funny and matched up well with the video.

Yeah, ska's one of those things that you just can't get away with fake instruments for.

If for nothing else, halving a dozen people on stage means more people dancing around and looking fun.

I always like to enjoy me some muppet goodness, but this was about half-speed for ska, with the beat going half-time. Waaaay too much of that trumpet in the barn, too. Good for 1AM, but if I had half of the required oxygen in my blood for brain-function, I wouldn't have made it through the whole thing.

Thanks for the feedback guys - I am going to rework the arrangement and ad in some more parts.

- As far as the "Ska" label - When I was making it I really wasn't thinking about ska, I was just goofing around, then when I decided to make a muppet video I decided to name it muppet ska - wasn't really trying to make "ska" so the title is a bit misleading - I probably shouldn't have called it ska but oh well...

I think if I add in another melody and maybe a tempo change it will liven it up a bit

- this was a 24 hour project, I wanted to see if I could write, record and create a video in one day - a little more work and I think it would be a bit less boring

I will try to rework it and see if I can make it a bit more lively
