Well, there's 2 ways. The first is to just create new tracks for the same session , up to 32, or, you can use the onboard pres on channels 1-4, 4 channels of outboard pres on channels 5-8, an 8 channel pre w/ optical ADAT out, such as Behringer ADA8000 or M-Audio Octopre for 8 more channels, and for good measure, a 2 channel pre with coaxial S/PDIF out for 2 more. This gives you a total of 18 simultaneous inputs. In Pro Tools, use "new track", which will create as many tracks as you want, uto 32. Then use I/O to route the new tracks to the appropriate inputs.
