Hi,
Can anyone tell me whether i can use more than just 1 multi effect on different channels on the same song.Ie....An Overdrive sound on track 1 and Chorus on track 2.If so how?..........It seems rather limiting!........Sorry, on the 2488neo

Checked the TASCAM user forums after answering you in the the Recording forum, and you do, indeed, have to bounce the track w/effect in order to free up the multi-effect for use on another track. You can still keep the original, un-effected track if you want to change it later.

A little tedious, but not terrible so. Bounces are really easy to do on the machine.

Nice one,
That makes sense.Cheers for your time on that one. I`ll let you know if i`m successful!

You can also print or record the effects sound by first assigning the input to the multi effects and then to a track/channel.

Exactly. You don't have to bounce to print the multi-effects. You'd have to bounce to print a send effect. Like Brad said, assign the multi-effect to the input, not to the destination channel.
