MR-8 Recording on Input A & B simultaneously (two tracks at once)

I want to record my acoustic playing into two mics, in stereo, so I'll plug one mic into Input A, and the second mic into Input B, which is controlled by the track 5/6 fader. Where is the track pan default for 5/6 since there's no pan pot for tracks 5/6? Panned to one side, or down the middle? I'm just wanting to get a real good stereo soundstage by using two mics and two tracks but want to know the best way to go about it when using Input B along with A. How will this work? Will I be able to bounce 5/6 to one of tracks 1-4 so I can control the panning for that track?

When recording stereo, as you are, the tracks are effectively panned hard left and right. Only A channel goes to 5 and only B channel to 6.
