Is there supposed to be a swish swish sound when you are recording something. I would really like to now if this is a problem so i can take it back and get another one. Thanks

make sure all your effects sends are down. if that doesn't do the trick. make sure your internal mic isn't on. if those dont help, get a new one

I tried turning the effects down and it is still doing it. It sounds like a click track with static in between the click. I have a mike on it right now. Were there should be silence there is none. I turned the master up and the track 1 up and it is pretty bad. That noise should not be there correct? I heard a few other people had this problem. Any feedback is awsome. Thanks turntablist. I got two sl-1200mk2 for sale if you need them.

Try disconnecting the mic first and see if the noise is still there.
