MR-8 backorder?

The MR-8 must be good. I ordered one last week from Musician's Friend and got an email Friday stating that it was backordered and would not ship till Feb. 7? Anyone know anything I can do to speed them up?

No, they get them in when they get them in. I will say, mine shipped about2 days earlier than they said it would, so thats a possibility. Also, they go first to a warehouse in Kansas City, if you are anywhere near there, it will get to you within a day or so after shipping.

Even though Guitar Center claims they don't carry Fostex, they do sell the MR-8. I walked in and picked mine off a huge pile of boxes. Have you tried them?

I don't have a credit card with them so I can get 90 days same as cash. Guess I'll just have to wait.

I just bought an MR-8 for about $215 last Friday from Musician's Friend in their scratch and dent special sections. These are items that are essentially brand new, and come with same guarantee as the new items. They were returned or the packaging was damaged or something small like that... Many good deals to be found

You just made me sick. I forgot to look in the scratch and dents.

Scratch and dent specials get updated every 15 minutes, so often products don't last long. You just have to keep checking them to see what pops up.

Hello all, I am new to the forum. I have purchased, but not yet recieved my MR-8. I have plenty of questions for you folks.

If you find out let me know! I am in the same situation, but I didn't get an email. I had to call them and ask what was going on. I would have cancelled my order, and bought one somewhere else, but no one else seems to have them in stock either!
