Hi folks.
I'm having trouble getting my Motu828 MK3 to send S/PDIF to my Mytek Stereo 96 DAC. I make the right connection on the back of the Motu, no inputs or outputs are turned down or off in the Motu Cuemix FX application, etc. And yet, I can't successfully get a signal from the interface to the DAC.
Anything else I can check here?
IN the meantime, I still have an old M-audio Audiophile 2496 PCI card in an older machine running XP, and it passes audio just fine via S/PDIF to the same DAC. I tell M-audio's control pannel application that it's a "professional" type S/PDIF connection, and it works right away!
I'm soon going to Win7 on a new DAW, and might get rid of the M-audio card, if I can get the Motu to work this way.
All tips greatly appreciated, including perhaps getting rid of the Motu.
Searching online seems to suggest that Windows users of the newer Motu stuff are NOT happy.
