Motu 896 issue?

I have a motu 896. I want to record using 24 bits. On the front of my motu the 16 bit light is lit up. How or where do I switch it to 24 bits? I am using Nuendo 2.0

If it doesn't give the option to set the bit depth in the MOTU control panel, try changing the project properties in Nuendo.

Project > Project Setup...

I don't have this unit, but I would guess that would depend on how you have the unit sync'd. Is it set to be the master sync? If not, then it would get its sync from Nuendo, and then what Crankz1 said applies. If it is set to be the master sync, then that value should be set somewhere on the 896.

Not as much for the sound, as the for the headroom... And the MOTU should handle 24 bit no problem... it's in the control panel
